Roxanne's Story...
Gone are the days of just sitting around at the shelter in a boring old "dog run" with no hope in sight. Not for this lucky group anyways. Check out this amazing group of 4-H youth giving back to their community every week. That's right every week this amazing group of young adults make their way over to The Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter and volunteer their time to work with homeless animals. They are providing basic obedience training through the guidance of Fran Klimek of Pawsitive K9 Training in an effort to not only help them find a loving home but ultimately to be a better companion animal for their new family. All of these hard at work K9's are available for adoption at the Madison Oglethorpe Animal shelter. If you are interesting in adopting one of the k9's currently in this program please submit an adoption application through our website. http://moaspets.com/adoptionapp

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxanne, a Danielsville Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Danielsville, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Danielsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danielsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danielsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danielsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
