Tootsie's Story...
Tootsie is a black and white tuxedo with the cutest little face ever! About 16 weeks old, spayed, current on vaccinations, negative combo test. Purrs so loud she can't successfully hide! Loves to wrestle with stuffed animals, bat at the big cat's tails, and sit on tennis balls. Her favorite game is to chase toys when they are thrown - she goes on point like a bird dog, but hasn't figured out the fetch part yet! She'll be a little shy at first with people she does not know, but her personality is highly social and friendly.
Campus Cats adopts to indoor homes only, and requires the adopter to bring a cat carrier in order to safely transport their new family member home. No set adoption fee, but donations help us help more kittens like Tootsie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a Wakinsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wakinsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wakinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wakinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wakinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wakinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
