Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Max's Story...
Max is a 2.5 year old male fawn Presa Canario. He came to us back in July from a shelter in South Carolina with Diesel. After having these boys for nearly 6 months now, we have come to the conclusion that they are most likely father and son. Max came into rescue HIGH HEART WORM POSITIVE. He finished his treatment in October and is now 1 month past his last treatments and is ready to go to his forever home. Max is current on vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, house broken, crate trained and comes pre-spoiled for your enjoyment. He would be a great dog for someone looking to start into this breed. Max has a very laid back and calm personality. He gets along with dogs and cats as well as all people. He will be available to a home with children on a case by case basis though he is 100% child friendly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Virginia Beach Presa Canario dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Presa Canario for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Presa Canario dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Presa Canario breeders who help with Presa Canario rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
