Sweetie's Story...
Cindy Hay Brubaker Introducing Sweetie! Sweetie is a one year old mini schnauzer mix who was saved the day before euthanasia at animal services. Can you believe someone abandoned this little girl? She is 10 pounds and won't get much (if any) bigger and was found as a stray. She is very sweet, a bit shy at first and gets along wonderfully with dogs and people of all ages. She is recovered from her spay and is fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. We are working on house training, but she is doing great! She is currently in foster in Flower Mound.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a Flower Mound Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
