Hogan's Story...
Hi, I’m Hogan, and like my brother Hulk, I am a male orange tabby kitten born May 8, 2013. I’m a bit timid, but who could blame me? I didn’t have the best of starts to life, but slowly I am warming up to the idea of a domesticated lifestyle. While it may take me a little longer to warm up, once I do, there is no place I like better than the lap of my foster mom. I can purr like nobody’s business. I like to look to my brother Hulk to know if it’s safe to come out and play. But once I’m out, I love to horse around. Hulk and I like to cuddle and would love to be adopted together, but if we find the right homes separately, we’ll adjust.

I am litter box trained and current on shots. I’m scheduled to be neutered in August.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Tillamook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
