Tony's Story...
Tony's a young (6 mo. to a year) terrier mix (about 15 lbs.). He has yorkie coloring and looks like he may have some of the longer yorkie coat (not sure). When we rescued Tony he had been covered in fleas and had destroyed a lot of his coat from scratching. He's obviously been someone's pet- loves to cuddle and sit with you, and seemed to be housebroken. He was turned into animal control by a vet's office. A family dropped him off there and then moved away leaving no forwarding address. Tony will be miccrochipped, UTD with shots, neutered and on heartworm preventative before going to his furever home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Ormond Beach Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Ormond Beach, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Ormond Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ormond Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ormond Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ormond Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
