Figi's Story...
Figi is a gorgeous 77 pound lab around three years old. She received her name because according to her foster dad she has such a calm island spirit. She is almost completely housetrained and loves to be around other dogs. She does great with the other dog in her foster home and prefers to have another dog or person with her at all times. Figi would prefer a home with someone to love on her often and not leave her alone for long periods of time. Her current foster dad works full time but she likes to be left with another dog when he leaves. Figi is an easy going love bug that would love to become part of your family! Figi's adoption fee is $200 and she is spayed, up to date on all shots, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. She is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Figi, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
