My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Eleanor and I am a 1 year old, chocolate n white, parti cocker girl. My sister, Agnes and I were found by wandering the back country roads all alone by a nice young couple and their were no owners in sight. We were very matted and really filthy from the environment, so this nice family tried to shave me down a bit so that I would feel better, but my hair was so hard to deal with, they just couldn't finish the job. These nice folks could not keep us or afford our vet care, and they didn't want us to go to a shelter, so they looked into rescue help to get us a good home.

I am healthy, heartworm negative and I am now spayed. I am a bit feral in new places, but I am starting to do better with things as I experience them. I will need to find a loving home with someone who can work with me on my socialization skills and help me adapt to my fear of new sights and sounds. I will also need your help with leash walking. I am dog social, I get along with most dogs, and I will do best if I can be adopted into a home with another very dog social pal who would like to have a friendm and I can be his/her buddy and learn new things too. I am a nice, very sweet girl. Please give me the 2nd chance that I deserve to have a loving home and a great life. I would love to meet you!
