Mittens's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mittens's Story...
Mittens and Yogi came to Pretty good cat with there mommy.
Both are extremely sweet, but Yogi is alittle shy with out her sister. So we would like to keep them together. Both girls are Polydactyl, meaning they have extra toes on their front feet.

They do have a tiny bit of white on their chest, but are mostly black.
Experienced adopter refers to the Poly toes, as they must be clipped so they do not grow into the paws. We do not allow de clawing of any of our cat's. Regular nail trims are needed though.

Please call for additional details or to schedule an Appointment to meet with an Adoption volunteer or the Director.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mittens, a Palm desert Hemingway/Polydactyl kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hemingway/Polydactyl for sale in Palm desert, or seeking a Hemingway/Polydactyl kitten from a breeder in Palm desert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm desert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm desert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hemingway/Polydactyl breeders who help with Hemingway/Polydactyl rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm desert paves the way for another one to be saved.
