Hula Hoopin' Josey is a 2 year old catahoula and cattle dog mix that favors the cattle dog size. She is roughly 40lbs soaking wet and is the perfect size for someone who wants a larger breed dog personality, but a dog that can also fit on your lap. Josey enjoys being in the presence of humans and LOVES getting attention. On a nice day, she enjoys watching her foster siblings romp around in the yard while she sits near her foster humans getting her belly rubbed. She has a very good, loving personality, loves to cuddle in bed, will fetch a ball and will go into her crate when asked. Josey is house trained, will be fixed on 7/29 and up to date on all her shots. She is being fostered in Spring Grove, Pa. A female Catahoula mix around two years old. She is good with other dogs, fairly calm and has a great personality. She is around 40lbs and is very petite. More info coming soon! She is being fostered in Spring Grove, Pa.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hula Hoopin' Josey, a Hanover Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
