Meet Penny! She is a 2-3 year old, female purebred Chihuahua. She weighs 5.4 lbs. and has a beautiful shot sable coat that does not shed too much. We took Penny in after her beloved owner passed away. She was very much a part of his life and she is now hoping to become someone else’s cherished little companion. Her previous owner was a man so we are going to assume that little Penny LOVES men. Don’t worry ladies…she will love you too.
Penny is a well balanced, sweet, affectionate and loving girl. She is very interactive and in-tune with her owner. She follows you around the house if you are up and about OR will quietly lie by your side if you feel like being a couch potato. She is fine and trustworthy to be left alone when her owners are away from home. She is a true companion dog and thrives on a close relationship with her person. She listens very well to what you are telling her. Very smart girl!
Penny is friendly with strangers and asked me to pick her up within seconds of my meeting her. She is also fine around children but because of her size we are recommending age 8 and up. Penny is a quiet dog and not a yapper. Her energy level is calm and easy. Penny is versatile in her housebreaking, as she will go outside OR use piddle pads.
Penny gets along great with other dogs both big and small. She co-exists pleasantly with other dogs and will play every so often but she is more of a people dog. Penny absolutely LOVES to go for car rides and LOVES to cuddle and sleep with her owner. She enjoys walks and hiking with the big dogs. Penny is a turn-key Chihuahua.
