TUCKER (R)'s Story...
Tucker is a beautiful, super dog. He knows sit and stay, is leash trained and LOVES to play ball. Tucker was turned into the shelter on 2/22/14. He is about 1 1/2 yr old and weighs 61 lbs. Princeton is current on vaccines neutered, and micro chipped. He has been tested for heart worms and is negative. His ID is 563730 and he is in run 858. Tucker should make a great family dog. Tucker was adopted in 2013 but his new family said they traveled too much to give him the attention he deserves so they have returned him. The new family said that he is good with kids and is house trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TUCKER (R), a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
