Bean's Story...
Bean is a 9 week old un-neutered male Min Pin blend who came to the shelter as a stray. If not claimed will be available for adoption on August 1st after 6pm. Bean is very small and petite and a happy little boy. He loves everyone and enjoys a great tummy rub....the longer the better. Because of his size Bean will need a secure yard because he can squeeze out of a very small area. Bean is a high energy boy who will benefit from obedience classes and consistency in his training to become the best he can be.

If you want to apply for Bean click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bean, a Meridian Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
