Georgie's Story...
As HAHS has several different adoption locations, please contact Barb directly at SSebright@aol.com or at 816-272-5048.

Georgie is an adorable 3 year old Min Pin/Beagle mix who is such a calm little gentleman -- housetrained and well mannered. He doesn't jump on people or furniture. Georgie's a friendly and affectionate heart stealer who would love to cuddle on the couch or snuggle in bed if you invite him. He's great with kids and other dogs but we don't know about cats. Georgie doesn't appear to be crate trained but is doing just fine in the house. He would be happy in a lively family, although his calm nature would suit a quieter household as well. Georgie's playful, great on a leash, and would love a forever home where he gets to take lots of walks although he does need a fenced yard. He is smart and quick to learn. He's so eager to be a part of the family. Somebody gave Georgie a good start in life, and he will make a wonderful addition to his future family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgie, a Overland Park Beagle/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Beagle/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Beagle/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
