Oreo's Story...
Meet the adorable Oreo, she is a medium, adult Terrier/Pit Bull mix. She is very sweet recent Mom, that found her way to the shelter with another dog. She is a total love bug and will sit with you for pets and affection. Oreo is a little on the thin side, so we are fattening her up while she is at the shelter. Oreo loves to play with her human friends and can be a little excited during play. She hasn’t met any dogs yet, but she did come in with another dog, so she can probably do just fine. Come meet this the gorgeous gal.

Act quickly to adopt Oreo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
