Hawk's Story...
Hawk is a young adult (born in 2011) domestic medium haired black and white kitty who just loves to play. Although not yet a lap cat, he has a lot of energy and does like affection. He would probably do best in a busy household where he can get lots of attention and playtime or in a home with another young cat. He would be fine with older children. We’re not sure how he would do with dogs. He is neutered, up to date with his shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hawk, a N. Billerica Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
