Wally's Story...
Meet Wally, a delightfully cheerful Rat Terrier Blend puppy.

This young man, with his distinctive "mask" face markings and spotted ears, is a genuine lover boy. His roster of activities include running, playing and sitting in your lap in a sequence that all makes sense to him.

Wally is healthy and fit and would make a great addition to any active family, especially one with children that can play with him.

He loves treats and toys and easily learns new tricks and commands. He is already savvy to basic commands and he's got kisses down pat.

Won’t you consider adopting Wally to add some fun to your home? He is guaranteed to bring daily smiles to your face!

You can meet Wally any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Wally, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.

Wally's Stats:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wally, a Coronado Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
