Gabriel is an great cat to have around because he is so easy going!
He is affectionate and playful.
He is only 1.5 years old.
He is neutered and vaccinated.
Because he is over 6 months old, we ask that Gabriel not be declawed.
He always uses the scratching post and litter box.
His FIV and Leukemia tests were negative.
Gabriel has received dewormer and Frontline.
He will go to his new home with his medical records.
His adoption fee is just $25.
Gabriel has no health concerns.

If you would like to meet Gabriel, he is living in foster care in Cottage Grove and he can meet you there! Gabriel gets along with most other cats, but he would also be fine as an only cat in the home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GABRIEL, a Madison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Madison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
