Romeo's Story...
Oh Romeo, Romeo! What a sweet boy he is! Romeo, at two years old, is the youngest of the group. He is so handsome and his pictures do not do him justice. But don't take my word for it...make an appointment to meet with this handsome youngster! Romeo is so precious! He is curious and the adventurer of the group. He loves being with all his family but will stroll farther away from them while outside while the others tend to huddle together. Don't delay, he and his family are a must see!

Romeo's adoption fee is is $250 and covers the cost of his neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and your adoption fee is a tax deductible contribution.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Delaware Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Delaware, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Delaware.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delaware already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delaware breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delaware paves the way for another one to be saved.
