Balto's Story...
BALTO is a 5 month old border collie mix. He was adopted from the shelter as a puppy and was returned because he was chewing on things. He is a typical puppy and deserves a chance to be himself and have fun as a puppy. He loves attention and sits on command. He has a beautiful silky, shiny coat and would be the perfect dog for an active family.

Balto is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and his adoption fee is WAIVED. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Balto at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:30 pm and Saturday 1-4:30 pm. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Balto, a Corpus Christi Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
