My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pixie is a super sweet female calico kitten who was found with her brother, Puck, in a Northwest suburb. Pixie absolutely LOVES to play with her brother - there is nothing better than to chase and tackle another furry creature your own size! In traditional regional lore, a pixie is mischievous, short of stature and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing and gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance, or sometimes wrestle, through the night! Sounds just like her! Pixie also likes to play with the adult cats in her foster home, especially their tails! She enjoys sleeping with either her brother or her foster mom. Pixie would LOVE to be adopted with Puck! Kittens do so much better in pairs because when you get tired of playing and cuddling (as if that ever happens), the kittens still have each other! Or, if there is already another playful kitten in the house, she would love that too. You can meet Pixie at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first. Hurry in, they grow up so fast! Pixie's estimated date of birth is 4/25/13. Her adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, FeLV/FIV test (neg), distemper combo (FVRCP) vaccine, routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.
