Sorin's Story...
When you meet Sorin, you just want to give him a big hug. This 3 year old shepherd/rotti mix seems so worried and just wants assurance that everything will be alright. Sorin came to us from our Newark facility when he was picked up as a stray. Someone obviously put some time into young Sorin because he is extremely well-behaved and very gentle too. Sorin is shy with new people but not at all aggressive. He just wants to take his time to get to know you and when he does, then the puppy within will come alive! Sorin is very playful, fun-loving and affectionate too. He just adores people that are kind to him and is so hopeful for a wonderful family that will love him forever. Sorin doesn't seem to mind other dogs and would love a home with a nice yard to roam in, and a family that will give him time to settle in and trust again. This gentle big boy is so deserving of a fresh start in life....please make his dreams come true! 7/23/13 File#22669

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sorin, a Forked River Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
