found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with kids.
Chopper is a dapper 6 year old, male short hair. He has hypnotic green eyes and beautiful loud purr.
Chopper was recently surrendered to our rescue by his owner, who could no longer care for Chopper.
Chopper is a friendly, playful cat. He likes to chase his toy mice around the room. He loves to be pet, purring loudly to let you know he likes it. He doesn't scratch or bite. He just wants to be doted upon by his people.
Chopper is healthy and litterbox trained. For now he is staying in one of our foster homes until he is adopted.
Interested in meeting and possibly adopting this cat? Fill-out an online adoption application via www.sadiemaefoundation.org. $200 adoption donation, reference check and home visit are required prior to adoption.
While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, FIV/Leukemia tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
In addition, this animal has been microchipped for identification purposes through HomeAgain's® Chip FurKeeps program. Adopters are required to pay the additional one-time,$10.99 microchip registration fee (which lasts the lifetime of the animal) upon adoption.
Our adoption contract specifically prohibits adopters from declawing any of our rescued animals. There are alternatives to declawing and we would be happy to discuss those alternatives with you.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals. We don't want them to go through this again. Visit www.sadiemaefoundation.org to learn about the adoption process in detail.
