Danny's Story...
Danny is a Shepherd/Spaniel/Retriever mix who was rescued from the shelter where we found him infested with fleas. He has lost some fur from his hind quarter but it will grow back quickly now that the fleas are gone! This baby is 3 months old and weighs 8lbs. (We have never seen the parents so we have no idea how big he will be as an adult.) Danny is an adorable puppy with lots of puppy energy and a sweet personality. He would love a home with a yard to run and play. He will make a great companion to some lucky family! Please visit our website for an online adoption application at www.dogswithoutborders.org and to learn more about our adoption fairs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Encino Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
