DIBS's Story...
Dibs is about 2 years old MINI Red Merle Australian Shepherd Pure Bred. He is house trained and very laid back for a Aussie. alot of times the minis are most laid back and would make great family dogs. He is not a herder, so school age children would be fine. Dibs is a lover and just wants to be by your side. Also he is not a barker, so a watch dog would be out of the question for him. But if you want a laid back, easy going, almost perfect dog, Digs would be the one for you. Call Elise at 8168985646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com. Adoption fee is $350 which includes neuter and all vaccinations and hw and flea control current.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DIBS, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
