MAIZY's Story...
Maizy is a shepherd/border collie mix about 7 months old. She came from a shelter in Broken arrow, OK. She gets along great with other foster dogs and does well in a larger group. She is spayed and utd on all vaccinations. She was picked from that shelter because of her smiling face and flying nun ears, the girls said she was a favorite and they had to move her to a rescue. When she cocks her head you can see in her eyes that she just wants to be loved and have a family of her own. I know she is a black dog and they sometimes get overlooked but please come see what she mis like and you will fall in love. Call 816 898 5646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com to see Maizy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAIZY, a Overland Park Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Border Collie breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
