Mojo's Story...
Mojo is a young Chihuahua looking for that special someone. He has not had the best life so far, and unfortunately his previous owners did not have the experience required to care for a special boy like Mojo. He can be very nervous around strangers and it takes patience and a little time to earn his trust. He will need an experienced small dog home who can provide him with gentle leadership. Mojo is still very much puppy-like and this includes his lack of housetraining! He will need a consistent schedule to help him to learn to go potty outside; until then, accidents might happen! It will also be required for Mojo to be signed up for positive reward-based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. These will help him gain some much needed confidence and social skills. Mojo's ideal home will be a home with no small children and another friendly and active dog. Please fill out an adoption application to meet Mojo and learn more about him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mojo, a Bellingham Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
