My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Douglas is one handsome, long-haired, young boy with a heart of gold. Just about six months old and around 10 pounds, he might have just a touch of growing to do.

Douglas is truly a happy boy. He has nothing but joy to share and thinks all dogs are just as happy as he is. Some of the older dogs in his foster home tire quickly of his playful antics, but the younger ones just join in the fun.

Douglas is great in the car and pretty good on a leash, and will be great on that in no time at all.

Email us for an application if you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this sweet young boy.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a leash & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
