Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB March 31, 2012.
Cissy is a beautiful, slim brown tabby. She was rescued from the wild by TCR while pregnant and gave birth to five beautiful kittens in her foster home, all of which found homes. Cissy is a very special cat in need of a special owner. She has been with her foster family for two years. She was very shy and wary of people when she first was brought inside, but now she loves her indoor life and loves snuggling up to the other cats in her foster home. She purrs loudly when patted and loves to rub against your legs.
Cissy needs someone to love her who is willing to be patient with her and give her time to get used to new surroundings. She likely will hide for the first few weeks. Cissy lets you pet her but on her terms. She is very wary of people and needs time to trust them. She is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be held. She would do best in a home that has other cats, preferably males. She’s very clean and always uses the litter box. She has become more friendly and has hugely improved, but she still has a long way to go. Cissy will become a great pet one day for an owner willing to be patient with her.
