Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This tall, stocky, chocolate boy was rescued at the last minute from a local shelter. We named him Bear because he is exactly like a big, cuddly, soft teddy bear!
Bear is about 2 years old and 70 pounds. He absolutely loves to swim and fetch toys thrown into the pool, then bring them back to be tossed into the pool again. He would really love a new home with a pool and pool privileges, please!! Bear knows lots of commands and is well-behaved. After swimming, his very favorite activity is snuggling up to his foster dad.
Bear gets along very well with other dogs and big kids. He is tall and stocky, so he could knock down smaller children without meaning to. Bear is housebroken, doesn't chew on anything except his Nylabones and crates very well. He could use a little more training & discipline, especially on the leash.
Bear has completed heartworm treatment, has been neutered and is in very good health.
After going through a lot, Bear loves people and is looking forward to finding his new forever family.
