Badger's Story...
My story: Badger is a VERY sweet boy who was living hard knock life of a stray neighborhood cat, living off of the generosity of the neighborhood cat lovers. One of the cat lovers took it upon herself to get him in to the vet to be fixed, vaccinated, and tested. He is a total lovebug and deserves to live the cushy, comfy, indoor life that many cats know and love. He wants to know what that feels like too! He deserves that! Please consider opening up your heart and home to an super affectionate Tiger boy in need of a place to call home and a family of his own. If interested in adopting Badger, email Becky:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Badger, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
