Millie's Story...
Millie is a very sweet little girl, we think she is 4-6 years old. Millie is heartworm negative and leash broken. This baby came to the shelter as a stray and has not been claimed by her owner. Now after a good grooming and medical check up she is ready for her new forever home. Millie does not like being at the shelter, she waits daily for her new family to come walking through the doors. Please come visit her, we are sure you will love her from the moment you meet....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Newberry Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Newberry, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Newberry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newberry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newberry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newberry paves the way for another one to be saved.
