This pet is being fostered in Knoxville TN. Our pets are listed in 10 different locations/states. To help us better serve you, please indicate your location in your inquiry.Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates. Meet beautiful Sitka! She is about 3 years old and very sweet. We do not know alot about her yet because she is new to rescue but hope to learn more about her soon. She does guard her food and toys with other dogs around so she will need to be fed separately if her new home has more than one dog.Sitka is more of a "people" dog than a "dog" dog. She is fine with other dogs but doesnt really show any interest in making friends or trying to play. If her new home has a fence yard, it will need to be a tall secure fence in order to keep her from attempting to climb it.She walks well on a leash. Sitka was surrendered to a high kill shelter because she was in heat and it was easier for her owner to dump her at the shelter than to pay to have her spayed( she is spayed now!!)! She is a bit thin but we are working on that
