Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TONKA
4 year old Male Cream Persian
HANDSOME
5 year old Male Cream and White Persian
Fostered in Salinas
Tonka and Handsome are brothers, at least they think they are. They MUST be placed together. They need a new loving home due to their owner being in treatment for Cancer. This was a difficult decision for their owner to make and she would not give up Tonka and Handsome unless it was necessary.
Tonka and Handsome are both loving cats. Beautiful Tonka, with his doll face, is the most loving and is the caretaker in his home. He grooms himself, then grooms the dog, then grooms Handsome and then grooms his owners older Persian. Tonka is a lap cat but only after he warms up to you. When the door bell rings he is off, only to come back in the room when he is comfortable. Handsome is super friendly with everyone and a kitten at heart. As his owner says, "He is the babyish type." He is the most gentle boy, a lap kitty and just look at that cute face.
Having Persians is a commitment, in that they need daily coat brushing and more eye care than most breeds. Tonka has an occasional tearing from his eyes which can be wiped off easily. Handsome has more tearing and needs his eyes washed most days. Tonka and Handsome are currently eating dry cat food but do enjoy canned food and occasional treats. They would love to be allowed to sleep with you. They were trained well as kittens and know they can sit or sleep on the couch but are not to go on the counters. They are healthy, altered, current on vaccinations and litter-box perfect. They are fostered in Salinas.
