My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I’m Joanie…and I’m so happy to be at The Pet Rescue Center. They saved me on the day I was scheduled for euthanasia at the OC Shelter. I’m just under 1 yr old and am a mixed breed. The staff has fallen in love with my sweet personality and gentle nature. I like kids, cats and other dogs and would do well in a new home with any of these. I’ve been spayed, micro-chipped, and have had all my vaccines. I would love a comfy lap to snuggle on. Do you have room in your heart and home for a petite girl like me? Please come see me at The Pet Rescue Center.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org

Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
