Phineus's Story...
This young fellow – with his charming personality and handsome looks – is a favorite at the adoption center! Phineus is one of the dogs we recently saved from euthanasia at county animal control, and he thanks us every day with hugs and kisses!

Phineus is a 9 month-old Coon Hound-Rottweiler mix puppy. He is cheerful and playful, enjoying the company of everyone he meets. He loves taking walks and playing with other dogs, and he doesn’t seem to mind the cats living here either.

This puppy would love to meet someone who wants an energetic dog to participate in a run, hike, or extended play session. He’d be a good addition to a family with kids or other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phineus, a Gilbert Coonhound/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Coonhound/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Rottweiler breeders who help with Coonhound/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
