HERO's Story...
Hero is so cute and loveable! He would make a great lap dog. He knows how to sit on command. Hero is a 5 year old, 18 pound, tri-color Manchester Terrier. He enjoyed his first trip outside today and the attention from the volunteers. Hero came to the shelter as a stray on 7/29 and has waited a week to see if his owner would come find him. This hasn't happened so Hero is ready for adoption! Hero is up to date with vaccines and will be neutered, heart worm tested, and micro-chipped upon adoption. He is in Cage 3 and his ID is 558106. Come see this cute cuddle bug soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HERO, a Marietta Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
