Tahoe is a handsome love bug! He is very friendly and adores people! He is goofy and playful! Tahoe has a beautiful, creamy coat, weighs around 65 lbs and is about 2-3 years old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dog! He is a absolute joy to have around, and so is his sister, Aspen! Tahoe and Aspen lived on the Indian Reservation. Their family didn't keep them safe inside, so the dogs were constantly wandering around. Tahoe injured his leg, and the family wouldn't take him to the vet, so they relinquished him to us. Tahoe and Aspen were sad without each other, so Aspen was rescued a few weeks later. When we first got him Tahoe had a very mild case of Valley Fever and his leg was badly infected. He still has a slight limp, but runs and plays just fine, and he is now negative for Valley Fever. Sister Aspen has Valley Fever, but has responded great to the medication and has plenty of energy. She will however need to stay on medication for another year. (Valley Fever is NOT contagious, so she cannot pass it on to other dogs or people.) Ideally we would like to find them a wonderful home together. Both are great with kids and other dogs! They are super smart and even though they had never been in a house before they were rescued, neither ever had any accidents and were crate-trained in just a couple of days. They are amazing, wonderful dogs! Tahoe isn't super fond of a leash, so he needs a little practice. Aspen will kiss you to death, so you better like an affectionate dog! Tahoe and Aspen are a beautiful pair! Any family would be lucky to have them. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on DAPP and rabies vaccinations. The adoption fee for both together is only $250 and will include 6 months of Valley Fever medication for Aspen.
