Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Things are going well in Spencer's New England foster home. He is getting along great with his furry foster brother. He is a little nervous at first meeting with new humans but does come around with a little patience. Spencer knows some commands and can sit like a champ! He is not a barker or whiner and he walks well on leash. Spencer can be a little bit mouthy in his play so he just needs to learn the boundaries of puppy play - even though he is 3 he hasn't had the chance to get that training. He is a fast learner though, doing great with housetraining and doesn't mind his crate.
We are unsure of Spencer's breed but he seems to have some cattle dog and maybe shepherd or hound in there. He is about 55 lbs and his beautiful black and tan coat is perfect for petting. He likes to be close by your side when walking and he is learning to play fetch. He is a great kisser, and he holds his ear up in a totally endearing way!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
