I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Beautiful little Edie was rescued from a high kill facility on what was to have been her last day alive. Volunteers who visit the facility daily were head over heels about this girl who kept smiling and trying to love (through the fence) everyone who came by. When a foster stepped up and said YES, we were thrilled!! Within days of being out, Edie grew very sick. And as luck would have it, she got sick on the weekend when our vet office is closed. Thanks to the round the clock care of her foster, Edie pulled through the episode and just look at her now!
Her brindle is a chocolaty brown color that catches the light dramatically. She is a small dog and we suspect she might be done growing, which makes her a perfect family size. She is big enough to be sturdy, but small enough to not be intimidating to your family members of smaller stature. Edie is completely housetrained and is learning her basic commands. She pulls a little on the leash when she is excited, but continues to improve and the more she is walked on leash the better she'll get at it.
We can't find anything to say about her temperament that is negative! She is happy to participate in whatever you want to do. You want to play and run? Okay! You want to veg out on the couch? Edie's up for that too!
If you are ready to find out more about Edie please fill out our adoption application at savingtheanimalstogether.org and we will put Edie's foster in touch with you!
