Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Doc Holiday. His owner has had many changes to her life lately and sadly has to rehome her loyal buddy. Doc is an Australian Cattle Dog about 8 months old and weighs only 30 lbs. He will stay on the smaller side as an adult. Doc will need a Cattle Dog savvy family as he is a herder. He loves to play fetch with a ball or Frisbee. He knows many commands; Sit, All the way (lay), That'll Do (come), back (to get behind you), outside (go outside) and he is working on down stay and roll over. Other than Cheez-Its, he will NOT eat people food, doesn't even try. He is crate trained, house trained, does great on a leash. Doc is a big fan of “stranger danger” out in public. He isn't aggressive, but will snap at someone if they try and pet him without a proper introduction. At home, new people just ignore him and he will let them pet him after a few minutes. If you love Heelers, and you know who you are, this is a great dog for you. Don’t miss out on this well trained, fun guy. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
