A059555's Story...
Duplicate Listing - A059555 - 4 year old male fawn & white American Bulldog mix - He is currently located at the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter and has been attending adoption events with Heart of America Humane Society at Ward Parkway Petsmart for the last few weeks. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when you can meet him at (816) 969-1640 and they are located at 1991 SE Hamblen Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64082.

He knows sit and seems to have some training, as he seems to understand and look to you for commands and respond when you give him direction. He is treat motivated, which will help him learn when training. He does pull on the leash so he needs to learn some leash manners as he is a fairly big guy at roughly 60 pounds. He loves getting attention and is a very good boy. He didn't have any accidents at the adoption events so he may be housetrained. He was also quiet in his kennel at the adoption events. Overall, a good boy who seems to want to please. Please contact the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter to find out when and where you can meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A059555, a Overland Park American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
