My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pete found himself tied up to a sign in front of the Junction City shelter the first of May. He sat in the shelter there forgotten for 3 months. He was kept on a bottom cage and being black, he was just passed over by adopters and other rescues. Once he was remembered, RRMPM was asked to help him. He is now safe in a foster home and is now so excited at having a yard to play in, a couch to cuddle on, and a nice soft bed to get under the covers and snuggle nest to his foster mama! He loves playing and does not know a stranger! What a happy boy! Pete is approximately 7 years old. He is nearly housetrained, (we never say 100%) and knows sit, and walks decently on lead. He would love to be adopted by a person or family with a fenced yard, (we require a physical fence, no underground electric fences), that wants a sweet boy to love and play with, and to accept into their family as a member of that family! He has been dealt a rough hand earlier in life, from now on, we promised him nothing but the best!
