My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We LOVE this girl!! Sabrina is a loving, SMART dog and she makes us laugh every day with her antics! She was found as just a small puppy running through the desert all by herself on the Indian Reservation. She is lucky the police found her before she ended up as coyote food! She really loves people, including children, and she also loves to play with her doggy friends. While she does truly love her doggy friends, she doesn't like strange dogs initially. She has to spend a few minutes warming up to them. She would also do better around older children as she can be a bit grumpy if small children are not gentle with her. She hasn't been around cats, so we don't know how she feels about them. It is estimated that she was born in around the beginning of April 2013, and she is a nice size at about 48 lbs. We do not know her exact breed, but she loves to chase birds and lizards, and definitely looks like she has some kind of sight-hound in her. We are very familiar with the "rez" dogs, and they are typically generation after generation of mixed breed dogs. They are smart, healthy and have good dispositions. Sabrina loves to cuddle and is very friendly, but not too needy. She does protest loudly if you move her when she is sleeping. We have learned to "let sleeping dogs lie". She is house-broken, crate-trained and very motivated to please. To know Sabrina is to love her, and she will make a great addition to one lucky family. Sabrina's adoption fee is $150 and that includes spay, microchip, rabies vaccination and series of DAPP vaccinations.
