Frank's Story...
Frank is a Bassett/Dachshund/Beagle mix with a laid back personality. He likes for you to toss the ball so he can sniff it and watch you pick it back up again. He would love to curl up in your lap but settles for a belly rub and being by your chair. Frank walks very well on the leash and is fine with shorter walks around the yard or in a smaller park. Even the volunteer who is 4 gets to walk Frank around. He gets along great with other dogs and will hide his bone in his bedding when the need arises.

Frank will cheer on those that want to run rather than racing with them. He will wrestle with the other dogs then is ready for a nap or a little snuggle time. His long ears are targets for rubbing and that is just fine with Frank. He would love someone to follow around and spend some time with.

Frank is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Rehoming fee is $75.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Neosho Basset Hound/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Dachshund for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Basset Hound/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Dachshund breeders who help with Basset Hound/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
