Lucy's Story...
Lucy's house manners are great. She is shy when there's a lot of commotion going on. Her foster mom will be working with her in every area of home living. Right now we're just giving her some time to feel comfortable in her new foster home. She is a great loving dog and loves the out doors. Her foster home has a big fenced in yard and she bounces and prances over every inch of it.
Lucy was rescued from the Sanford Puppy Mill. She is shy and timid around humans at first however Lucy is great with other dogs. She needs some love and obedience.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a W. Columbia Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in W. Columbia, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in W. Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in W. Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a W. Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in W. Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
