Meet Dusty and Noodle – two long-haired, blue-eyed, gorgeous and inseparable best buddies. Dusty and Noodle are male siblings; svelte Noodle is the white Flame Point and the athlete in the family. He is generally the initiator in their daily wrestling matches. Dusty is the big Rag Doll with the comical multi-colored face. He is a big, roly poly, laid-back kind of guy who likes to sit back and assess the situation before deciding whether or not to take action. Both are very trainable and responsive to following household discipline, with the aid of a squirt from a water atomizer (which we also use for our plants).

They are both sweet natured and gentle, and not prone to biting or scratching each other or their caregivers. We haven’t had them long enough for them to be lap cats yet, but they follow us around from room to room, wanting our companionship, and I have no doubt that when they are part of a permanent household for a longer period they will be cuddly cats. They are both affectionate toward us, greeting us at the door when we come home and winding their silky bodies around our legs.

Dusty and Noodle deserve a permanent warm loving environment where they can be together and interact with each other and with their caregivers. They adapted quickly because they have each other, and it would be very stressful on them to be separated.

They came to us at approximately 10 months old, accustomed to being outdoor cats. We live in a condo and they readily adapted to indoor living, replacing prowling outside with checking out our activities, or playing with their toys and each other inside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noodle, a Vancouver Colorpoint Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Colorpoint Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Colorpoint Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Colorpoint Shorthair breeders who help with Colorpoint Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
