My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mello is a sweet, gentle and loving tabby boy with a white chin, white chest, and white boots. As his name implies, he is quite mellow! Mello was rescued from the city shelter when he was a bottle baby (that is, too young to eat on his own, and the shelter didn't have the resources to bottle-feed). Mello has grown into a beautiful, gentle cat. A bit timid at times, he's very thoughtful and sometimes needs time to assess his surroundings before he decides he's fully comfortable. But when he does decide he's fully comfortable, he can even be seen lying flat on his back in a completely vulnerable, trusting position (as seen in the photo). Mello was raised with several other cats and has a knack for getting along with even the most difficult of kitty personalities. But he has grown especially close to Kim, a tortoishell girl about his age, who is fearless. When they are together, Kim likes to dive head-first into new situations, while he likes to take his time and think about things first. They have great chemistry and really gain strength from each other with both their similarities and differences. They would love to be adopted together and continue on their great friendship. If you have another cat and were considering adopting another one or two cats, Mello and Kim could be a great fit as they both get along well with many different kitty personalities yet already have a great friendship. Mello and Kim will bring joy to any home. Mello was born around 6/17/13.
