Fannie Mae's Story...
Hi, my name is Fannie Mae and I love to play, play, play! My two legged friends call me a special needs CH cat because when I eat I bob my head up and down, and my movements are jerky sometimes, and my back legs splay out in a wide stance. But I get around just fine, and I always use the litter box. I think “special needs” just means that I’m extra special. So, I in my case CH stands for Cuddly and High-spirited. My fur is soft gray, like pussy-willow flowers. Yes, I’m very pretty! One more thing I have to tell you; I love to eat canned cat food. It’s just so yummy that I gobble it up as fast as I can. I know it’s not polite, but I just can’t hold back! So, if you want a kitten that will purr in your lap, and make you laugh, and love you every minute of the day and night, then I’m the one for you. Please call CBTR and ask to play with Fannie Mae.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fannie Mae, a Trevose Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Trevose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Trevose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trevose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trevose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trevose paves the way for another one to be saved.
