Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Hunter & I am a 2 yr. old, 24 lb. beagle boy that was found as a stray in Ohio. I don’t know how I ended up in the shelter, but I do know that I never want to go back there again! The people were nice, but it was always so noisy with barking dogs. I heard someone say that it was ‘urgent’ for me to get out of there, which meant that I didn’t have much time left to live. Penny Angels stepped in and saved my life! Things are much better for me since I found my way to Rescue, but I was told that I shouldn’t get too comfortable here because this is just a temporary home for me until I find my forever home. In the meantime, I will just hang out with my new beagle friends and learn the rules of being in Rescue.
I am a sweet boy with long beagle ears! I get along well with other dogs. In fact, it would be nice for me to find a home with another dog so that we can play together! I have a little bit of energy and would make a good walking partner, though I do tend to pull when I am on a leash. I think it is mostly because I want to go, go, go, as fast as I can to my next destination! Hopefully, each step I take will bring me closer to meeting my new family and finding my forever home! I will be at Petsmart on Saturday if you want to meet me… perhaps we will make a special connection with each other!
